I’ve been snowboarding a couple of times in the last few years and both times i have managed to only just walk away from it with all my limbs intact. Well, only just. I prefer the boarding games on the PS2 to real life, as you get to pull off gravity defying tricks that you couldn’t do in real life. Plus, if you wipe-out, you get back up and carry on. Rather than lying dead on a mountain top, waiting for some archaeologist to stumble across your frozen body in twenty years time and presume you are some missing link. But i didn’t know that it was first invented in the 60’s as something for surfers to do when the winter comes in. But after watching the entire history of snowboarding in two minutes, i know a lot more now.
Cool! Picked up on the guy loosing in medal for smoking week. Isn’t that part of the ethos of snow/skateboarding? Either way, cool vid.
that was cool! although i think they should have blatantly kept the name the “snurfer” =D
I wish I could learn more things like that. Thanks for the post.
