Fight sequence’s in movies can sometimes be a bit drawn out. Days and days of positioning and checking angles just to get five seconds of footage. Well this next clip must have taken almost as long as the Matrix to film. It involves two chaps, Tony and Paul and their little punch-up that sends them flying through trees, getting knocked into sand dunes and generally getting the shit beat out of each other. Well, sort of.
Ohmigod. That was unbelievable. Great work! I can’t even begin to imagine how long that must have taken.
I am lost for works. Two thumbs up!
A very impressive piece of film-making. I can’t imagine how tedious that must have been to make. According to one of the film-makers, this isn’t exactly stop-motion animation but a process called Pixilation, where the actor becomes a kind of living stop motion puppet.
@Chantal, it took two months to film and edit, if you read the comments on YouTube.
That was fucking class! It’s easy to be critical and say why do so much in front of tree’s which they can’t control and maybe affects the smoothness of it but then they do the sand bit which is just brilliant. The sand just doesn’t move underneath/around them which shows some dedication and skill.
Interesting to watch from a casual perpspective and even more clever to watch technically. If theys guys arn’t working on visuals full time someone ought to snap them up sharpish.
pretty farking awesome yeah they did some funny stuff with that. great find!
IN-FUCKING-CREDIBLE!! These guys have more talent in their little fingers than I have ammassed and lost over my 40+ years of existence. BRAVO!
