The cop was performing this in a pretty risky fashion for the big truck but the idiots behind him had like 10 seconds that they weren’t paying attention…and not just the yellow car but the ones behind him as well!

Policeman mistake. There was no need to stop traffic in the middle of highway. Hope there is enough room in the ambulance for him…

Well the cop still has a leg because he got it out from between the motorcycle and the car.  And if the ambulance had been any closer it would have hit him when he landed.  Hopefully he’ll be okay.

seems like the certain car intentionally turned a little to the direction the cop wanted to escape at….

Definitely bad move on the cops part.  Every couple years around this area (BC, Canada) you hear about cops trying to pull a u-turn on a highway to chase a speeder but end up causing a major accident… poor judgement, just like in this video.

That driver has no excuse.  They had plenty of time to even stop.  It’s a simple matter that they were not paying attention to what’s happening in front of them.  Notice that the car in front of the yellow one was able to avoid the officer.

Cop is a complete moron, you don’t play the road block like this just before a merging lane. There was more than enough place to redirect safely the traffic while staying in the white zone.

Yeah, maybe the yellow car was not carefull enough (certainly in fact since there was a crash) But you’re not supposed to expect this kind of complete stupidity on an expressway with usually mandatory minimum speed limits.
